Job description for Senior Embedded Software Developer/ Tech Lead Position
Educational qualifications:
Engineering graduate (or) postgraduate in Electronics & Communication Engineering branch.
Work Experience:
Embedded Software development experience of minimum 8 years for senior embedded software
developer i.e. Tech Lead position.
Preferably worked on Automotive Embedded Software Development Projects.

Embedded Software Development skills:
1) Embedded software development using C language programming.
2) Good overview on Software Development Cycle i.e. from Customer Requirements to Software
work products implementation and delivery.
3) Need to perform Requirement Analysis and to prepare Software requirements and software
design documents (low level and high level)
4) Software needs to implement as per coding guidelines, comply with MISRA guidelines to full
fill the requirements and product functionality.
5) Needs to comply with Software quality processes in implementing software work products.
6) Need to perform Unit/ Functional testing on implemented Software modules and required to
prepare Software Test Plan/ Test Reports.
7) Need to perform inspections/ reviews on software work products with other team members
and SW- Quality member.
8) Have worked on 16/32 bite microcontrollers in Embedded projects and have used Embedded
SW development tools like IDE’s, Compilers, Debuggers etc.
9) Development experience on low level drivers i.e. ADC/ PWM/ Timers/ SPI/ I2C/ UART etc.

10) Awareness of Configuration, Change Management and Defect log tools during Embedded
projects Software development.
11) Good experience on SPI/ SCI/ I2C/ UART communication peripherals and worked on CAN/ LIN
and UDS protocols.
12) Good knowledge on understanding Electronic Hardware Schematic diagrams with
Microcontrollers and associated Digital/ Analog/ RF circuitry.

2) Good knowledge on Diagnostics and Functional Safety.
3) Worked on software implementation as per AUTOSAR and their tools.
4) Worked on CAN/ LIN/ UDS protocols implementation using Vector Tools.
5) Good knowledge on Bootloader/ Application programming using CAN/ LIN/ UART
Communications.
6) Should have good analysis skills on software work products i.e. requirements, design, source
code, software test cases as per product functionality need.
