Job Description

WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Worker should be qualified to serve as a “IT Contract Manager”, Level 2 under the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) IT Staff Augmentation Contract guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

Years	Skills/Experience
Required	Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) – Currently certified
8	Experience with Technology contracting, contract management, and purchasing or procurement management in local or state government
8	Experience with reviewing and evaluating technology contracts and vendor deliverables
5	Experience with Department of Information Resources (DIR)’s solicitation and contract processes, policies, guidance, exemptions, and limitations
5	Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office products: Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint. Experience with SharePoint
	Knowledge of applicable local, state, or federal rules, regulations, and policies related to contract procurement administration and management
	Knowledge of procurement policies and procedures as defined in the Texas Procurement and Contract Management Guide
	Ability to work independently while understanding the need for communicating and coordinating work efforts with others
	Ability to handle multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines and make critical decisions
	Ability to analyze complex information and develop plans to address identified issues
	Strong communication and organization skills with attention to detail
	Ability to work closely with cross functional teams; establish and maintain cooperative and constructive work relationships

Preferred:

3	Certified Texas Contract Developer (CTCD)
	Formal project management training and/or certifications
