We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Appium Automation Engineer with a proven track record of at least 8 years in mobile application testing and automation. As a Senior Appium Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications across various platforms. You will work closely with our development and QA teams to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Appium, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and efficient test execution.

The candidate must be willing to work both in US hours and on US projects.

Salary Range: 90K - 100K Per Annum

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and develop test strategies.
• Design and implement robust and scalable automation frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Conduct thorough test case reviews and provide feedback to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to test automation framework, tools, and environments.
• Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of defects and issues identified during testing.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on test automation best practices and methodologies.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in mobile testing and automation technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing with a focus on mobile application testing and automation.
• Proficiency in Appium automation framework and mobile testing tools.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud-based testing platforms like Sauce Labs or AWS Device Farm.

Knowledge of other mobile automation frameworks such as XCTest, UIAutomator, or Espresso.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Relevant certifications in software testing or automation (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium WebDriver).
