Responsibilities:

• Execute manual testing procedures to ensure the quality and functionality of software products.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases based on project specifications.
• Identify, report, and track software defects through thorough testing and debugging processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test strategy development.
• Document test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging testing methodologies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process.
• Assist in the training of junior testers and interns.

Requirements

• Proven experience in manual software testing methodologies and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meticulously follow test procedures.
• Proficiency in creating and executing test cases.
• Familiarity with testing tools and defect tracking systems.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Adaptability to changing project requirements and deadlines.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
