The Groundskeeping BG-02 position is an entry level career opportunity at Tyson Foods, Incorporated.  This position requires basic lawn and garden equipment maintenance along with basic knowledge of mowing, manicuring shrubs with trimmers, weed eating, edging of curbs, weed identification and removal of weeds from flower beds while maintaining a manicured look of the facilities. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to outside weather conditions, hot and cold and noisy equipment. Other job duties as assigned. This position will work at multiple locations.  

REQUIREMENTS:   
Education:  High school Diploma or equivalent.   
Experience:   basic landscaping maintenance knowledge helpful for the daily tasks of manicuring the landscaping.  
Computer Skills:   N/A   
Communication Skills:   basic communication skills required.  
Special Skills:   Understanding the operation of lawn and garden equipment is helpful.   
Physical Requirements:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  
Supervisory:   This is a non- supervisory position which reports directly to Facilities Manager.
