Job Description
WORK ARRANGEMENT: 100% On-site
PAY RATE: Up to $21/hour
The Customer Service Associate (CSA) serves as the primary liaison between Tyson Foods Supply Chain and assigned external customers. This role is responsible for managing relationships, ensuring smooth communication between carriers, customers, and sales teams, and delivering the highest level of customer service. The CSA will develop an in-depth understanding of each assigned customer’s organization, processes, and needs while working closely with the Sales team to meet and exceed service expectations.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary contact between Tyson Foods Supply Chain and assigned external customers.

Analyze incoming emails (potentially 300+ per day) and determine prompt, effective resolutions.

Utilize various dispatch systems (TES, LME, Four Kites, OTR) and external scheduling systems (Retailix, Retail Link, UNFI, One Network, etc.) to address and resolve issues across all business units.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Tyson Foods’ internal policies, procedures, and software applications.

Develop a thorough understanding of external customers’ organizational structures and procedures.

Identify and implement cost-effective, creative solutions to address delivery process issues.

Represent Tyson Foods positively in all customer interactions to ensure accurate and timely product delivery.
Requirements
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent work experience in customer service or transportation/logistics.
Experience:
-
Customer service experience beyond a call center environment required.

Dispatch experience in transportation/logistics is preferred.
Skills:
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
-
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
-
Excellent conflict management, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.

Ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
