We are seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to lead design initiatives for complex enterprise systems. This role will focus on user-centered design, accessibility, and creating seamless experiences for large-scale applications in domains such as government services, healthcare, or finance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in user research, prototyping, AI/ML interface design, and data visualization, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates success in delivering enterprise-grade design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead user research initiatives and journey mapping to gain deep insights into user interactions.

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual hierarchies that align with accessibility guidelines and branding standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners (such as Code for America) to apply UI/UX best practices.

• Conduct usability testing and implement responsive design and SEO optimization strategies.

• Translate business needs into intuitive, user-centered design solutions for enterprise systems.

• Design interfaces for AI/ML-powered systems, ensuring transparency and human-AI interaction principles.

• Present complex data and AI insights through effective data visualization techniques.

• Facilitate discovery workshops, feedback sessions, and sprint planning to ensure alignment with stakeholders.

• Advocate for user empathy and accessibility, ensuring all products meet WCAG standards.

• Document workflows, design decisions, and provide clear handoffs to development teams.

Candidate Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• 11+ years hands-on experience designing user interfaces and experiences for enterprise systems.

• Expertise with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and related tools.

• Proven ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.

• 10+ years applying UX principles (hierarchy, contrast, alignment) to create responsive, accessible interfaces.

• 10+ years creating wireframes and prototypes that support Agile development cycles.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience across enterprise applications and user-centered design.

Preferred Skills:

• 5+ years designing graphical diagrams and visual narratives to illustrate workflows or system architecture.

• Experience facilitating design workshops and feedback sessions with stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, HCI, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• Strong multitasking ability, managing multiple concurrent design streams.

• Bonus: Experience with eligibility determination systems or rule-based, data-intensive applications.
