Job Description
We are seeking an experienced TSDS Data & Customer Support Analyst to support the Texas Student Data System (TSDS) and its associated data collections. This role requires strong customer service skills, close collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a high level of accuracy in documentation and data handling. The ideal candidate will have hands-on TSDS experience at the LEA or vendor level and the ability to train and support internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Provide functional and customer support for Texas Student Data System (TSDS) data collections and related processes.

Serve as a point of contact for LEAs, vendors, and internal teams regarding TSDS data questions, issues, and resolutions.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze issues, clarify requirements, and ensure accurate data submissions.

Document issues, resolutions, and processes with a strong focus on accuracy and clarity.

Develop and deliver training materials and conduct training sessions for team members and stakeholders.

Support continuous improvement by identifying trends, recurring issues, and opportunities to enhance support processes.

Assist with software documentation, including issue tracking, release notes, user guides, and technical references (as needed).

Maintain clear and professional communication with stakeholders at all levels.
Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience working with the Texas Student Data System (TSDS) at the LEA or vendor level.

8+ years of customer service experience with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and technical teams.

Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in documentation and data handling.

8+ years of experience training and supporting team members or end users.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with software documentation, including documenting software issues, release notes, and technical guides.

Proven technical writing experience, creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.

Familiarity with education data systems and state reporting environments.
Nice to Have

Experience supporting large-scale education or government data systems.

Prior experience working in a public sector or education agency environment.
