We are seeking an experienced QA Test Manager to lead and manage software testing activities across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will oversee testing strategies, coordinate testing teams, and ensure the quality and performance of software systems. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive experience with testing tools, and a solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage user acceptance testing, performance testing, accessibility testing, interface testing, security testing, and data conversion testing.

• Develop, review, and maintain test strategies, test plans, test suites, and test cases.

• Manage and monitor all test activities across modern technology platforms.

• Document and report test results, integration issues, data conversion issues, and defect status.

• Track and manage problem incident reports (PIRs) and defects throughout the testing lifecycle.

• Coordinate testing schedules, resources, and testing activities across project teams.

• Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to QA team members.

• Collaborate with development teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.

• Ensure testing processes align with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Support continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

• Strong experience managing test planning, execution, and defect management.

• Experience with testing tools such as Jira, Selenium, Microfocus UFT, JUnit, TestSavvy, and SQL.

• Experience using performance testing tools such as JMeter and JProfiler.

• Strong understanding of SDLC and software testing methodologies.

• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall development environments.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Salesforce platforms.

• Experience working with Texas State agencies in a QA Test Manager role.

• Experience as a team leader or project manager.
