Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team and support enterprise technology initiatives through business analysis, system evaluation, testing, and user-focused documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working within software development lifecycle (SDLC) environments and collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

This role requires excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language and user-friendly documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems, workflows, and user needs to identify process improvements and system enhancements
  • Gather, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the SDLC process
  • Participate in software development reviews and provide recommendations related to analysis, design, testing, and implementation activities
  • Support Agile and traditional SDLC methodologies to ensure successful project execution and delivery
  • Perform and support unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Develop test scenarios, test cases, and validation documentation to ensure business requirements are met
  • Create and maintain user-focused technical documentation, training materials, guides, screenshots, and visual aids
  • Communicate technical concepts and system functionality clearly to non-technical users and business teams
  • Coordinate project tasks, priorities, and deliverables while managing multiple assignments with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist in issue resolution, process improvement initiatives, and production support activities

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user requirements
  • Strong understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience participating in software development reviews and supporting analysis, design, and testing activities
  • Hands-on experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Experience performing or supporting unit testing, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating user-focused technical documentation and instructional materials
  • Experience developing screenshots, diagrams, or visual aids to support documentation and training
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in clear, simple language for business users and clients
  • Experience working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams
