Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst to support enterprise data management and analytics initiatives. This role will focus on client and provider identity resolution, master data governance, data quality, and analytics enablement using Informatica technologies.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica MDM, SQL, identity resolution strategies, and data governance. This individual will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, analytics teams, and IT organizations to ensure accurate and reliable master data assets that support reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives focused on client, member, provider, and organizational identity resolution.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate complex identity management and operational needs into scalable MDM solutions.
- Design and implement identity resolution strategies to improve data consistency, accuracy, and reliability across enterprise systems.
- Utilize Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica MDM to support data integration, cleansing, matching, merging, and stewardship processes.
- Perform data profiling, analysis, validation, and enrichment activities using SQL and related tools.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, data engineers, and IT leadership to define and validate client and member identification methodologies.
- Support enterprise analytics initiatives by ensuring trusted master data and consistent identity management practices.
- Communicate technical findings, data limitations, and identity resolution results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in data governance, data quality, metadata management, and stewardship activities.
- Develop and maintain documentation for identity management processes, business rules, data standards, and data lineage.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for MDM technologies, best practices, and enterprise data management initiatives.
- Support Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse teams by providing trusted master data and identity management solutions.
- Promote MDM adoption and data governance best practices throughout the organization.
- Assist with emerging AI and advanced analytics initiatives through high-quality, governed data assets.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
- 10+ years of experience gathering business requirements and translating complex identity resolution requirements into actionable MDM solutions.
- 10+ years of experience with Master Data Management platforms, including Informatica MDM.
- 8+ years of experience explaining technical concepts and data limitations to business users and executive leadership.
- 8+ years of strong SQL experience for data identification, profiling, validation, and manipulation.
- 8+ years of experience collaborating with business users, analysts, and IT leaders to develop client and member identification strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of data integration, identity resolution, and enterprise data management principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehouse environments.
- Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- Experience working within healthcare, Health and Human Services (HHS), insurance, Medicaid, or other regulated industries.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and stewardship practices.
- Experience serving as the primary point of contact for MDM-related analytics initiatives.
- Experience leading enterprise MDM adoption and governance programs.
- Familiarity with AI prompt development and AI-enabled analytics initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field preferred
