Job Description
We are seeking a Cloud Security Analyst to support enterprise cloud environments by identifying, assessing, and remediating security vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud infrastructure, vulnerability management, patching, configuration hardening, and security compliance. This role will work closely with infrastructure, operations, and security teams to ensure cloud-hosted systems remain secure and compliant with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain cloud-hosted systems across enterprise cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Identify, analyze, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities in cloud and infrastructure environments.
- Coordinate patch management activities and validate successful remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Implement and maintain configuration hardening standards and security best practices.
- Monitor security findings and ensure remediation activities meet established service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Participate in change management processes and ensure remediation efforts follow approved procedures.
- Document remediation activities, risk assessments, and technical findings.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and security teams to address security risks and compliance requirements.
- Assist with security audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives.
- Track remediation progress and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional IT experience with hands-on exposure to cloud infrastructure, system administration, or vulnerability remediation.
- Experience supporting cloud-hosted systems in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability remediation, patch management, configuration hardening, and compensating controls.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and change management processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Ability to follow established security policies, standards, and remediation procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise vulnerability management tools and remediation workflows.
- Knowledge of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solutions.
- Understanding of security baselines, risk reporting, and compliance frameworks.
- Relevant cloud or security certifications such as AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar.
