• Manage the complete lifecycle of statewide device deployment projects, from procurement through configuration, deployment, and project close-out.
• Lead enterprise hardware refresh and device deployment programs for administrative and legal staff.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Organize and coordinate diverse technical and non-technical project teams.
• Coordinate with vendors, technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users throughout the deployment.
• Conduct project meetings, stakeholder meetings, status reviews, and working sessions.
• Establish clear communication channels and maintain transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, and timelines.
• Prepare accurate project status reports and communicate updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate device procurement, configuration, logistics, scheduling, deployment, and inventory activities.
• Manage multiple vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Support change management and ensure deployment activities follow established IT processes and standards.
• Maintain project documentation using tools such as MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Ensure successful transition, completion, documentation, and close-out of deployment activities.
• Support large-scale deployments across multiple statewide locations, including projects involving 800+ devices.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive IT project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading hardware deployment, device refresh, or enterprise IT infrastructure programs.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience managing technical teams, vendors, and cross-functional resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SDLC, PMBOK, Agile delivery, change management, and enterprise IT operations.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and project/workflow management tools.
• PMP, CSM, or ITIL certification.
• Experience working with Texas state agencies.
• Previous experience supporting statewide IT programs.
• Experience coordinating deployment logistics for 800+ devices.
