Job Description

The responsible for performing advanced business and systems analysis work that involves gathering, developing, and documenting business processes, and recommendations. Also conducts research and completes special project work. The position will work in concert with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to support the organization’s long-term business goals/strategy for the case management system. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required for producing defined deliverables, reports, fiscal notes, and presentations. Familiarity with child welfare case management practices is required.  

SALARY RANGE: 110K TO 120K Per Annum

Responsible for the following: 

Seeking, gathering, and analyzing information from internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Converting findings into meaningful documentation for use by the division/agency leadership team.

Communicating with technical, non-technical, functional, management and senior/executive level staff.

Working within cross-functional teams.

The Worker must have a strong business analysis background with extensive experience in the following:

Assessing an organization’s readiness for change.

Strategic planning for an enterprise organization.

Experience with analyzing and/or implementing case management systems meeting the requirements for SACWIS/CCWIS.

Experience working in a fast-paced information technology environment.

Experience developing solid requirements documents with a strong attention to detail to capture agency and other stakeholder needs, scope, and timeline.

Robust skills facilitating and leading groups to clarify and define agency and other stakeholder needs, scope and priorities, as well as delivering presentations to senior and executive leadership.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide clear and consistent status updates and information to stakeholders and agency leadership of project progress.

Solid and working experience with the MS Suite tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio).

Communicating and listening in a way that is focused on a clear expression of, as well as understanding of ideas and concepts that ultimately lead to positive outcomes and results.

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills:

8 years: Experience as a Business Analyst in an enterprise-level environment.

8 years: Experience in Business Process Design concepts and techniques.

8 years: Development of documents summarizing analysis and key recommendations with a strong attention to detail.

8 years: Functional and technical requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation with a strong attention to detail.

8 years: Experience with the Microsoft Suite of tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, and SharePoint).

8 years: Facilitating meetings, requirements gathering sessions, and conducting presentations with all levels of an organization to include direct delivery, senior, executive leadership, and external partners.

8 years: Experience with analyzing and/or implementing systems meeting the requirements for SACWIS/CCWIS.

8 years: Developing and presenting project status updates and reporting on key performance indicators for project success.

8 years: Strong communication - verbal, written - skills with all levels of an organization to include direct delivery staff up to executive-level leadership.

8 years: Awareness and knowledge of systems and solutions that promote efficiency, effectiveness, and enable direct delivery of services to clients.

Preferred Skills:

1 year: Awareness or knowledge of DFPS systems and programs.
